Meet Me

Hi…my name is Kim and I’m an herbal junkie. I confess I took my last herbal formula 20 minutes ago.

Despite the fact that I’ve battled major symptoms of autoimmune diseases for 21 years, life is still very enJOYable.

About 15 years ago I was feeling much better after the initial plunge into a horrible abyss of a program that I did not sign up for. I was able to jet ski, ride a bike and drive again!  A few years later major flares had me in a wheelchair for a few months with a knee the size of a small basketball, extremely dependent on friends and family. Today I’m much better in many ways and some days are less painful than others.  Five – nine years ago (living in NC) I was able to hike trails along the Blue Ridge Parkway! Then my roller coaster ride of health took yet another tough dive.

Asheville is a great place to live ‘naturally’. There I discovered several amazing therapies including Ortho-Bionomy and NSA (Network Spinal Analysis). And I spent an enlightening month in Arkansas at a clinic to help me thru some of the most excruciating pain I’d ever experienced in my life.

After 4 1/2 years in Asheville, we moved BACK to Florida.

The past five years have been a whirlwind of changes — emotional, physical, geographical and most significant, spiritual. We lost our home for the same reason many others have worldwide, was displaced for several months, then survived two (saltwater) floods in our rental home. Each step brought me closer to the place my Father prepared (for me) in this monumental time in history. I am so blessed to be chosen by Him.

God is my Rock…so going through all of this without Him is not even an option!

It’s mid 2024, the world is in chaos and I have not published words of inspiration for a few years now. For this I am so — not proud. Words gifted to me by my Heavenly Father become my voice. If they reach even one set of eyes and bring a smile or a tear, then I’m living my best life. How dare I hide them under a bushel. Or restrain them inside my own mind.

Oh yeah – the reason I named this treadin’ on high is inspired by one of my favorite books: Hind’s Feet on High Places by Hannah Hurnard.

Treadin’ on the high places with Yeshua Ha-Mashiach is where I want to be!
